While we take pride in each project we deliver and cherish the accolades from our clients, there's a unique thrill in receiving unbiased, external recognition. By Vidar Hofmo Bjølgerud - Senior Graphic Designer / Advisor
This year, Specifique stepped into the global spotlight, competing in two esteemed international arenas of the learning and development domain: the BEX Institute and the Brandon Hall Group. Our innovative approach shone bright at the BEX Institute’s International Business Learning Games Competition, propelling us to the finals. We eagerly anticipate our journey to Lisbon this August, aiming to secure our victory.
In a separate feat, while the top spot eluded us, our efforts were acknowledged. We were honored with a bronze medal at The 2018 Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Awards for Learning and Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Management and HR and Sales Performance Awards.
Our victory was specifically for the category of Best Use of Games and Simulations for Learning. We crafted a captivating simulation game for Equinor (formerly known as Statoil), set against the backdrop of the fictional country of Exlandia. This game immerses participants in a comprehensive learning experience, unraveling the intricate value chain of the energy sector. Additionally, it sharpens their strategic skills, preparing them for the volatile challenges of this competitive industry. This game has garnered widespread appreciation within Equinor, even substituting traditional company presentations across universities in Norway and England.
