Shaping the Future of Leadership at PwC

PwC is a leading expertise hub emphasizing knowledge, insight, and value creation. In Norway, it boasts over 2,300 employees spread across 28 offices nationwide, all deeply ingrained with local business and environmental insights. The company operates in 157 countries, primarily offering professional consulting services aimed at the financial sector.

At the heart of PwC’s cultural DNA is a passion for nurturing future leaders. Through their career program ‘Go Manager’, consultants on the brink of leadership roles are deeply immersed in the essence of genuine leadership.

'Go Manager' emphasises building trust and upholding the company's core values.

Specifique’s role was to present an initiative where participants were challenged with realistic situations and dilemmas. Through Dialogduk, Diggle, and realistic simulation exercises, the consultants had their decision-making abilities put to the test under pressure, addressed ethical challenges, and mastered the art of teamwork.

The essence of this program is PwC's Code of Conduct, ensuring the company's values are maintained. The objective was to foster an understanding of the significance of collaboration, trust, and value creation, and how the mission "Together, we build trust and create value" functions in practice.

The topics were as follows:

  • What expectations are associated with the Manager role at PwC?
  • What role must managers assume to fulfill PwC’s mission: “Together, we build trust and create value”?
  • What’s the significance of cost efficiency, leadership, and team collaboration?
  • How do we navigate the ethical challenges in our roles?

The outcome? Each group delivered specific action and initiative plans with a consistent focus on collaboration, value creation, and trust – the three cornerstones of PwC’s philosophy. Feedback from the client and participants was extremely positive, underscoring the importance of open communication and a robust work culture – the building blocks of effective leadership.

Over time, ‘Go Manager’ has become more than just a course: it represents a commitment to exemplary leadership, held annually to ensure the successful onboarding of future leaders.
