The European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA) is a lively community of organisations sharing the same vision and a common goal: creating positive societal impact through venture philanthropy and social investment.
From November 9th to November 11th 2017, 530 participants from all over the world met at Sentralen in Oslo for EVPA’s annual conference. The aim was to exchange ideas, experiences and be inspired by a variety of actors within venture philanthropy and social investment (VP/SI), as well as introduce the Nordic approach to participants.
Specifique assisted FERD, the conference’s host, with realising idea and experience exchanges between actors, and in ensuring active involvement and discussion from participants.
With the help of Diggle™, our digital learning tool, the participants worked together through five parallel workshops at five different locations, where they shared ideas and experiences surrounding five “Wicked Problems” within the VP/SI industry. The results were projected live to the different locations, and a report was created that contained all the input and ideas from the different groups. The report was given to the participants after the conference to share the concrete results from the group work.
